“The Cube suffered a pretty big blow to the heart yesterday. It is so heartbreaking to comprehend, let alone acknowledge, that our friend Moish Brenman, passed away in his sleep. For those of you who that didn’t know, Moish was Consolidated’s first artist that was so integral in starting us on this journey. We look around this place and see Moish in every nook and cranny. Fuck… the Cube logo was his brainchild! Among many other things, he was such a huge part of getting the Don’t Do It campaign off the ground back in ’97, he created a brochure called The Plan, which was a step by step guide on how to get a public park built in your town back in the nineties….and his artwork? On a whole nother level…he could draw like no other! You were a crazy genius that loved life and knew how to laugh and make others laugh. Life can fuckin suck sometimes, and this is one of those times. We’ll never forget you and will always love you, Moish. Keep everybody laughing up there, and save some room for us, would ya? ” – Consolidated Skateboards
